I have ridden many places, but there are even more I still WANT to do. Some of these are organized rides, and some are ones that I would do on my own. The following is just a sample of them. This is a work in progress, I will add more as I find them or think them up! Any suggestions?

I read about a guy who spent 10 days riding from Seattle to San Francisco with his brother. Sounded like a great ride, and the photos made it look spectacular. I’d love to do something like that.
Just about any ride through the eastern slope of the Cascades is fantastic, and should be done. The west side is nice, too, but there are so many trees you can’t really see the mountains around you. I think Leavenworth to Cle Elum should be a great ride, especially if you follow the Old Blewett Pass road instead of taking the highway. I’m looking forward to a ride through the Columbia River Gorge soon.
Miami to Key West sounds amazing. I loved all the bridges to Key West, pretty spectacular views.
I love key west, only been there twice and only once did I drive it. It was amazing! I am just not sure if you are allowed to bike from Miami to there.
Well, Canada does have a national highway: The TransCanada highway and then there’s the TransCanada Trail…a bike-some parts ped. route. Parts of it is done ..taken a long time.
TransCanada highway is 8,000 km. from west to eastern shores of Canada’s length.
You might want to contact my partner who has cycled from Vancouver BC to Toronto, Ontario over 4,300 km. in 45 days.
These are great and get me inspired to tour again! A friend and I did Portland to SF a few years ago – feel free to get in touch with any questions!
The Adventure Cycling Association maps were a Godsend.
You are one of many recently telling me about those maps! I need to check them out!! I love when I help people saddle up again.
