As we all know, the reason Michelle and I were able to move here to the coast is because the Mighty P let us telecommute from here. My normal work attire now is shorts, t-shirt and no shoes or sock.
However, the expectation when we moved here was that we would need to come back from time to time and work in the office. This week was a whirlwind trip for me. The drive up was uneventful, and the time in the office productive. My boss also convinced me to finally let him take me out for my 5th anniversary lunch. (My second 5th anniversary.)
We went to Red Robin! YUM!!!

I had never been to Texas until last week. I’ve seen it on TV, read about it in books, and met people who are from there, but I had not spent any time there. In fact, I’ve been wracking my brain, but I don’t know for sure if I had ever even caught a connecting flight there.

Anyone who has been following the blog this week knows I have been in Spokane all week. I decided to drive over and bring the bike so I could bike commute to the Spokane office. Combining the fun rides and the commutes this week, I cranked out 140 miles.

So there I was last week, reading a sci fi book about some space traveling cowboys (ok they weren’t really cowboys, it’s what I use instead of space traveling people). One of them was lamenting about how bored he was. They’d been cooped up in the space ship, going faster than the speed of light, for 450 days .
