In the Last couple of years, our niece Abby has twice braved the weather and TSA to come up from Texas to visit.
Well it seemed only fair that Michelle and I return the favor. It had been in the plans once, but things fell through for some reason. This seemed like a perfect time, though, given a recent event in her life

As we all know the plan this week was supposed to be San Francisco and Napa. In fact, today we would’ve picked up a rental car and driven to wine country. Instead, we woke up here at the beach.
Yeah, I am NOT sad about that! Continue reading “We weren’t the only ones with a plan B trip!”
So this week is Michelle’s birthday! We won’t say which one of course, but to me she still looks like she is a hot chick in her 30s!
Her birthday is Thursday, so I wanted to do something fun on one of the weekends around it.

I was stuck given the opportunity to travel with two coworkers to Nashville to observe a training program we might implement…. Continue reading “Making the Best of it”
So, the ride is over. I have cruised into Vancouver, completed my 195 total miles, and had my celebratory beer (or two) and dinner.
Ever wonder what I do after a big ride? Continue reading “The After Ride”
In May, the third Friday of the month has historically been Bike to Work Day. OK, I know, y’all are thinking “But Tony, almost everyday is bike to work day for you!” This is very true. However, this is a day set up to encourage EVERYONE to do so!
This year it was called Bike Everywhere day. The theory, of course, being that ANY miles are good miles! (Which is true) but the festivities did revolve around the morning commute… Continue reading “A very WET Bike Anywhere Day!”
