Fashionable it aint…

Looking at the calendar, one will see winter is here! The week before Christmas, between Thursday morning and Saturday afternoon, our back yard rain gage recored over 6 inches of rain! That was combined with some heavy winds for 18 hours straight!

But I am OK with that! I love stormy weather at the coast, its half the fun of living here. AND it made our Lincoln City Office Christmas party at Tidal Raves even that much better!

Free fun!!

Ever heard the old saying, “There is no such thing as a free lunch?”

People usually say it when someone talks about getting something for free. As in, “You know junior, there is no such thing as a free lunch! Someone, somewhere is paying for that! you just don’t know it!!”

Cannon Beach 2017 Part III

From the pictures I’ve posted you might not know it, but I am telling you, this has been a wild week of weather.  Tuesday night I was woken up more than once by the winds howling over our skylights. Add to it, heavy rains, followed by sun breaks, and its been fun.

Cannon Beach 2017 Day II

Remember yesterday when I said Michelle was up before me and rarin to go? Well today was a the same. I was hard asleep and when I opened an eye she was sitting up in bed staying in touch with the world on her iPad.
