Listen to the locals

It was a busy weekend for Michelle and I. We played Santa and delivered some presents, did some shopping, and (gasp) went to an orchestra Christmas concert. Yes boys and girls, I got some culture! Even an Oboe solo! Though I was disappointed that they did not play Bob and Doug McKenzie’s the 12 days of Christmas, it was fun.

Dawn to dusk

So, in a week or so, Michelle and I will hit the 9 month mark of the day we moved to the coast. There were those who believed, and hell maybe still believe, that we’d get tired of living here.

In all honestly, just like anywhere, there are work days that suck ass, and days where nothing all that memorable happens. There is magic at the coast, but that magic does not happen every day.

Grocery Shopping on the Oregon Coast

Well y’all, no matter where you live there are things that need to be done. Even on the Oregon Coast I have to clean the cat’s litter box, on Wednesday nights I have to take the garbage to the curb, and once a week, to keep Norbert happy

I have to make fresh hummingbird food.

And, to eat regularly, we have to go grocery shopping….

The library is up and running again!

Over 8 months ago, we moved from Mountlake Terrace to the Oregon Coast. if you have been following this blog, you have seen some of my cycling and beach walking photos. Here is one from today.

Long time readers will remember that at the old house we had a Little Free Library in the front yard, made by my step dad.
