After 6 months there is still new to see…

We looked at the calendar yesterday, and sure as hell, it has been 6 months since we moved here!! March 23rd, on a rainy cold day in Mountlake Terrace, we loaded the U-Haul and headed south. There are those who believed we would run out of things to do and be bored…

Its Becoming a Habit!

OK, OK I know. Lately the blog has been mostly about cycling… But in all fairness, the Mountainstroh blog started as a cycling site. Then, as time when on, it just became more about life in general, and since my life, especially this time of year, seems to revolve around cycling, it kinda makes sense! Plus cycling at the Oregon coast is amazing!

After Work in Lincoln City!

So, as we all now know, Mountainstroh and Mrs. Mountainstroh have moved out of the Puget Sound area of Washington. Last Saturday, we pointed our noses to the Southwest and arrived at Lincoln City. Resting(?) at the beach after the 100 mile ride!

There are a LOT of options for me during the year to ride century rides. Quite often I choose the ones I do for the ending spot.

It works even better when we can combine the end of the ride with some time off for Michelle and I. With this weekend’s ride ending at Westport on the Washington Coast
